Following the success of Third Son’s debut album ‘20 Days’ in May and the first remix package released earlier this month comes a series of fresh remixes from friends and favourites. Volume 1 included mixes from London Modular Alliance, Kincaid and Kilig. The second instalment includes mixes from Chambray, Joshua James, Wax Wings, and VONDA7.
Rekids Star Chambray offers a simple but effective remix of Seize What Flees. His signature rhythmic toms lead to dreamy synths, which open to reveal uplifting melodies from the original. XOYO resident and Phantasy recruit Joshua James picks up the tempo of Surge ft. C.A.R. - one for an anticipated club re-opening. Wax Wings delivers an absolute bomb of a Mindcloud mix, with sound design to make your ears melt, and rhythms to make your toes curl. Berlin based, Artwerk label owner VONDA7 offers an excellent down-tempo jam in her remix of Accident, The Best Artist Of All. Droning bass and broken-beat drums closes the package with class.
